Argo Marine Introduces Pollution Control Div

The new Pollution Control Division of Argo Marine, a Division of Argo International Corporation, recently hosted a presentation at the New York Hilton Hotel on pollution equipment. The purpose of the presentation was to introduce the new division of Argo Marine, and to show operators and engineers how Argo Marine's equipment meets the new U.S. Coast Guard regulations concerning pollution.

Each attendee received a copy of Argo Marine Pollution Control Systems reference manual and guide. This manual is a comprehensive text to aid in solving the compliance requirements for all classes of ships, workboats, offshore installations and transfer facilities. In addition, it includes sections covering emergency spill response and cleanup equipment, as well as compactors for solid refuse management.

Wherever applicable or required, all the marine sanitation devices and oil/water separating systems described are accompanied by appropriate U.S. Coast Guard Certifications, as well as IMCO approvals.

For a copy of "Pollution Solutions," contact any Argo Marine branch or Michael A. Gales, Marketing Manager/Pollution Systems, Argo Marine, 140 Franklin Street, New York, N.Y. 10013.
