Irish Firm Orders Two Supply Vessels From Quality Equipment

Pott Industries Inc., 611 East Marceau Street, St. Louis, Mo.

63111, has announced that Gulf Fleet Jones (Ireland) Limited, a recently formed Irish corporation owned by Pott and The Jones Group Limited of Dublin, had been awarded a contract by Marathon Petroleum Ireland Limited to furnish two supply vessels for the Kinsale Head Gas Project in the Celtic Sea. Work under this contract is scheduled to commence July 1, 1977.

Pott said that the two supply vessels to be utilized on this contract would be built by its Quality Equipment, Inc. shipyard at Houma, La.

Pott's Offshore Marine Services Division presently provides marine services worldwide to the offshore industry, with principal operations in the Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea and Persian Gulf.

It operates a fleet of approximately 70 vessels. Pott also has major interests in shipbuilding and inland waterways transportation.

Jones Group Limited is engaged in marine transportation, warehousing, manufacturing and engineering services.
