Pietro Campanella Heads New MacGregor Italia Established In Italy

Recognizing the growing importance of the Italian cargo access equipment market, the International MacGregor Organisation has established a new company in Genoa, MacGregor Italia S.p.A.

MacGregor has been longestablished in Italy through the General Agency for Italy of MacGregor-Comarain S.A., Paris, and the new company will ensure the continuity of the agency's highly successful operational and managerial activities.

MacGregor Italia S.p.A. will operate with full autonomy in the Italian domestic market, and has already been responsible for negotiating recent important orders.

The well-known personality in Italian shipbuilding and shipowning circles, Pietro Campanella, is president of MacGregor Italia S.p.A., and Ernesto Pacilli, manager of MacGregor-Comarain in Italy for many years, has been appointed managing director of the new company.

The board of directors of Mac- Gregor Italia S.p.A. includes Mario Costa, Mariano Maresca, and Pierre Louis Moine, all wellknown personalities in Italian maritime circles, and Pierre Halle, Director General of the French MacGregor company.

MacGregor Italia S.p.A. will maintain its head office in Genoa.

It is the organization's intention to utilize Italian products and facilities to the maximum extent, and to maintain as its first requirement the unique high standards of quality and service which shipbuilders and shipowners throughout the world have come to expect from the International MacGregor Organisation.
