De Laval Separator Establishes Marine- Offshore Sales Dept

The De Laval Separator Company has established a Marine/ Offshore Sales Department to provide increased service to this rapidly growing segment of the company's markets. Robert J.

Wimmer has been named national sales manager for the new department.

The sales force for the new marketing department consists of N.H. Chavasse, East Coast; R.J.

Curole, Midwest and Gulf Coast; R.H. Hammond, Southwest; and D.J. Meader, West Coast. Each man has considerable experience with De Laval's marine accounts.

Sales offices have been established at Ellicott City, Md., Mandeville, La., Houston, Texas, and Costa Mesa, Calif.

Products handled by the new marketing group include solidsejecting and solids-retaining centrifuges for purifying fuels and oils, plate heat exchangers for central cooling and other cooling and heating applications, and fresh-water distillers.

The De Laval Separator Company, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. 12602, a member company of the worldwide Alfa-Laval Group, manufactures and markets centrifuges, thermal equipment, and total manufacturing processes to the marine, offshore, general industrial, food, and agricultural markets.
