The lighting plan, prepared by Phoenix's "CALL" (Computer Aided Lighting Layout) program, calculated in advance the illumi- nation level of every area above deck.

Model MRS-E-400 Super-Marine fixtures with 400 watt High Pressure Sodium lamps were selected to provide high light output with low power consumption, plus longer service life.
