Literature Describes N ew N a t i o n a l Control System To Reduce Fuel Consumption

Data showing fuel consumed and rate of fuel consumpton is continuously displayed at the new Fuel Sav-r™ System. The system is described in literature offered by National Control Systems, Inc., St. Louis, Mo.

The monitoring system can help vessel operators cut operating costs and maximize vessel performance. The data provided is used in adjusting throttles, steering, and engines. There is no guesswork in reading the data, which is shown in accurate, non-jitter digital numerals.

A compact display unit can be read at a glance and provides a clear and continuous digital readout of engine speed (rpm), fuel consumption in gallons per minute and total fuel in gallons.

Inefficient engine operation is immediately obvious and the continuous flow of information allows relatively effortless and continuous adjustments which result in maximum fuel efficiency throughout an entire trip.
