Papazissimos Named VP Controller For Sperry's Electronic Systems

Z.J. Papazissimos has been named vice president and controller for Sperry Corporation's Electronic Systems operations, headquartered in Great Neck, N.Y.

In his new position, Mr. Papazissimos will be responsible f o r directing all financial and legal activities of Sperry's Electronic Systems operations, and will also guide and consult with the Electronic Systems' unit controllers on matters relating to companywide financial policies and procedures.

Mr. Papazissimos replaces Wasson Baird. Mr. Baird will continue as a vice president of the Electronic Systems operations on special assignment until his retirement later this year.

Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Papazissimos served as the controller for the Systems Management unit of the Electronic Systems operations. He joined Sperry in 1952 as an accounting clerk, and has held a number of key financial positions with the company, including financial analyst, manager of financial control, and manager for finance, planning and administration.
