Marine Technical School

F.I.T. is the second largest private university in Florida. The |ensen Beach Campus is located on the Indian River 40 miles north of Palm Beach and has a full time enrollment of 700.

Applicants should have a masters degree in a technical field and either a 100 ton license, or equivalent engine room qualifications, or extensive commercial fishing experience.

The director will be responsible for supervising courses in all phases of marine science, including navigation, seamanship, commercial fishing diesel and outboard engines, as well as auxiliary courses in welding and machine shop. Teaching in one or more of these areas will be required.

The director will be responsible for growth and develop- ment of the school, including solicitation of financial support.
