Hamworthy Introduces

Emergency Fire Pump Set —Literature Available

Hamworthy Engineering Ltd. has recently added an emergency diesel- driven fire pump set to its compre- hensive range of marine equip- ment.

The set has been primarily devel- oped for shipboard emergency fire pump duties and consists of a Ham- worthy horizontal centrifugal pump (type B. 80H), close coupled to a

Lister marine-type (S.T.2.M.A.) air- cooled diesel engine.

The self-contained unit has a ca- pacity of 20-50 m:i/hr, is capable of heads of 25-58m and runs at 1,800- 2,600 rpm.

The combined unit meets the re- quirements of the marine classifica- tion societies and is supplied with a self-priming option.

A standard set of spares is avail- able and the combined unit can be supplied off the shelf as comprehen- sive stocks are maintained.
