CRINE (Cost Reduction Initiative in the New Era) which was a collab- orative program to simplify and stan- dardize developments. In the OMF, a signi? cant number of opportunities, on their own, are untenable. However, with access to a credible shared dataset of opportunities, licensees are looking to create hubs and unlock opportuni- ties, to create real value propositions.

As an example, the OMF partici- pants are developing a strategy for unlocking some 175 million boe (mmboe) of sour oil and 75mmboe of sweet crude in stranded discoveries.

The strategy identi? es the optimum solution for tiebacks to existing instal- lations as well as areas where new clus- ters are needed.

Another example is using powerful

Figures 2, 3 & 4 illustrate the size and distance of opportunities which are identi? ed within 30 kilo- meters (km) of the Piper ? eld.

Figure 4 clearly shows the distance and quanti? ed size of opportunities within a 30km radius of the Piper ? eld. There are resources of approxi- mately 250mmboe in discovered ? elds, with four clear “jumps” indi- cating sizeable discoveries. Further tools are used to discriminate ? uid type, ? owline size requirements and a high-level screening of the probability of ? ow assurance issues.

By unlocking simpli? cation and standardization bene? ts, rapid “what if” evaluations, result in a transparent and consistent assessment of hub po- tential. For example, TROVE utilizes analog and host production perfor- mance data along with reservoir char- acteristics, ? uid type and screening development schemes with evidence- based production pro? le modeling for
