A new 2-inch stainless-steel submersible pump has been introduced by Multiquip Inc., Carson, Calif. The model ST-2005S is constructed of 304 stainless steel, and is ideally suited for the petrochem, agrichem, chemical, and marine applications where hostile liquids traditionally exist.
In typical construction dewatering applications, the new pump promises up to four times the life of cast iron or aluminum pumps.
Literature is available describing the unit which incorporates a y2 horsepower electric motor, operating at 115 volts/60 Hz.
Thermal overload protection and double oil-filled seals are standard features. The pump comes complete with a 25-foot cable and measures 7*4 inches diameter by I6I/0 inches high.
