  • The president and CEO of International Marine Carriers, Inc.

    (IMC), Robert G. Wellner, recently announced that the company has experienced a complete change in its board of directors and corporate officers. Mr. Wellner will be chairman of the board and other members include: Thomas F. Keenan, David M. Walton, Robert J.

    Young and Vincent J. Barra. The new corporate officers include: Mr.

    Keenan as vice president and chief operations officer, Mr. Barra as secretary and John V. Fougner as treasurer. Mr. Walton will be vice president, quality assurance, and Mr. Young will be vice president engineering.

    IMC was founded in 1980 and presently manages a fleet of 16 vessels, including RO/ROs, LASH vessels, tankers, car/truck carriers and container/crane ships. IMC's management experience includes both U.S.- and foreign-flag ships in seagoing and shore-based activities.
