Monitors vessel operations and ensures quality service through effective planning and customer relations by working with port operations to affect timely and efficient stevedoring of vessels. Manages equipment use, turn times, over-due and damaged equipment, and ware- house operations of inbound and outboundcargo as well as inventory control. Participates in the short and long term strategic planning, reasonable forecasting, & program evaluation. Prepares operational reports and advises management of poten- tial issues with recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess excellentwritten and oral communications skills withminimum 7 years general management ex-perience preferably in the steamship cargo or related industry with exposure to all facets of the business to include sales, mar-keting, vessel operation, equipment control, accounting, and human resources. The can- didate will have a Bachelor?s Degree in Busi- ness Administration, Sales or related field, a valid driver?s license and passport.
