Other features, while not as imme- diately visible, can have a profound impact on the daily operation of the vessel. Whether a closure is power op- erated, or operated manually, would be one example. Can the closure be operated remotely? Does the closure utilize quick-acting dogs (also known as central dogging), where a single handle turns an internal linkage to activate all of the locking lugs in the frame at once?
