Skills: • Previous experience operating 30- 50ft crew boats are a plus. • Mechanically inclined.

Description: • Our Pilot Boat operation is to board and disembark our Pilots in the Mis- sissippi River and Gulf of Mexico.

At boarding, pilots must climb onto moving vessels via rope ladder leading up the hull from the deck of a pilot boat. This can be a dangerous under- taking, sometimes in rough sea con- ditions with both vessels pitching and rolling back and forth and the ladder swinging from the vessel.

Job Responsibilities: • Safe and pro? cient operation of our

Pilot Boats ranging in size from 30-50ft.

• All necessary preventative mainte- nance of our pilot boats and facilities. • Minor repairs when applicable. • Proper housekeeping of our pilot boats and facilities.
