About the Job:

VideoRay LLC, a global leader in underwater remotely operated vehicle technology, is seeking a motivated individ- ual to fill the newly created position of “Account Executive,

Government & Military.”

Your primary objectives will be to develop new business and work with existing customers in the underwater

Government and Military markets worldwide.

VideoRay is recognized worldwide as the leader in micro- sized Remotely Operated Vehicles for Port and Vessel

Security. This new technology is gaining rapid acceptance and is being deployed worldwide to fight terrorism and pro- vide force protection. VideoRay is seeking the right individ- ual to lead and share in this initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties will include, but not be limited to: *New business prospecting and development, including phone calls; scheduling, preparing and conducting client meetings and demonstrations; and preparing presentations, proposals and bid specifications. Significant travel is expected. *Existing customer retention and up selling strategies for the Government & Military markets. *Attending training and associated workshops to increase product knowledge and to stay abreast of company prod- ucts and pricing as well as to gain familiarity with competi- tor’s products and pricing. *Participating in trade shows, exhibits, open houses, and product demonstrations to promote company image and solutions. *Sales tool creation for face to face sales presentations and indirect dealer and distributor sales.

EDUCATION:

A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant technical dis- cipline or related military or work experience is required.

A Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant technical discipline is a plus.

EXPERIENCE:

Five or more years business-to-business selling experience (military and/or marine industry is preferred, but not required) or military service in Navy or Coast Guard

Experience working with, and replying to, commercial and government RFP’s and tenders

International sales experience

SKILLS:

A highly qualified candidate will have a thorough working knowledge of the Military and Government market including related business contacts. The ability to operate independ- ently with minimal direct day-to-day guidance is critical.

The candidate will be expected to target specific business development goals. The candidate will have an under- standing of basic selling skills, with exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities along with the ability to work within a professional, team-oriented environ- ment. Additionally, the candidate will have superior knowl- edge of sales techniques including phone sales etiquette, networking, lead generation and the ability to capture and close business.
