In addition to the Horten facility, Kongsberg Mesotech's Vancouver facility is responsible for the design and manufacture of under- water acoustic products, including imaging and profiling mechanically scanned sonars, multi-beam imagingsonars, and altimeters.Kongsberg Maritime offers map- ping systems, providing survey solu- tions including multibeam echosounders connected to positioningequipment, heading and motionsensing instruments, and sound velocity sensors in order to position the soundings correctly.
