JW Fisher?s DHI-1 InterrogatorJW Fishers Mfg. has introduced a line of low cost transponders and an inter- rogator. Fishers MFT-1 multi-frequency transponder can transmit nine different frequencies between 24 kHz and 33 kHz. The standard MFT-1 will operate from four to eight months. An optional extended housing triples the operating time. Fishers DHI-1 interrogator de-tects any transponder transmitting in the range between 24 and 33 kHz at a dis-tance of up to 3,000 ft. The DHI-1 can either be carried by a diver or deployed from a boat. An earphone alerts the diver or topside operator to the detection of a signal, and a digital readout shows the distance, with a built-in compass pro- viding the heading. www.jw Þ shers.com info@jw Þ shers.com PAC Stainless, Ltd. Tungum instrumentation/hydraulic tube has a proven record of preventing pitting and crevice corrosion in salt laden ma- rine atmospheres. As the preferred tube for saturation and dive systems, Tun- gum has gained conÞ dence in the div- ing industry to perform where failure is not acceptable. Tungum tubing (ASTM B706 TF00; UNS C69100) is approved by ASME for Section I and Section VIII applications. ASME will include Tun- gum in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes for use in both Section I and Section VIII applications. As a re- sult of ASME approval, Tungum meets the requirements in USCG Title 46 CFR 56.60-1.Deepwater Corrosion Services, The Polatrak Deep-C-Meter 3000 AD cathodic protection survey system is de- signed for rugged service on work-class ROVs down to 3,000m (10,000 ft.). The new 316 SS pressure housing combines ROV-II and Polatrak EFG readouts into a single, smaller housing that can be conveniently mounted anywhere on the ROV. New programmable, ultra- bright LED displays have brightness adjustments, and the 3000 AD features RS-232 (standard ASCII string) digital data output. Also, the unit is ROV 24V DC-powered, so there are no batteries to change. The kit includes an ROV II probe, an articulated mount and stan-dard replacement parts.www.stoprust.com SEA CONLeighton Mauro (pictured) of SEA CONÕs Gulf Coast Sales ofÞ ce will be one of the speakers at the forthcoming Underwater Intervention conference and exhibition being held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
