Rob Helliar is Head of Customer Solutions at Cambridge Pixel, a UK-based developer of radar acquisition, processing, tracking and display software for the defense, maritime and security markets. He holds a master’s degree in physics and has spent his career in radar and electronic warfare, overseeing customer projects from initial system design through installation and long- term support.

Kei

Michael Kei serves as Vice President of Technology at ABS based in

Houston, Texas. In this role, he leads the strategic direction and execution

Helliar Laursen of technological initiatives across the Americas, ensuring alignment with

ABS’s mission to advance safety and innovation in the marine and offshore industries. With two decades of experience at ABS, Michael has contributed to a broad spectrum of marine and offshore new construction projects.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the

National University of Singapore (NUS) and his Master of Science in Offshore

Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Laursen

Wendy Laursen has 20+ years of experience as a journalist. In that time, she has written news and features for a range of maritime, engineering and science publications. She has completed a Master of Science research degree in marine ecology as well as diplomas in journalism, communication and subediting.
