Now ready to build 'em bigger, better, faster...SAKAI SHIPYARD The capacity of our Sakai Shipyard has been vastly increased with the completion last October of a new 400,000 DWT dock. It can easily accommodate the largest ships afloat today. The dock measures 380 meters in length, 62 meters in width and 12.5 meters in depth and is equipped with the latest facilities for ship repair. With our other 250,000 DWT dock, the Sakai Shipyard has been constructing mammoth tankers of 200,000 tons and more at the rate of 4 to 5 a year.
