^ TLj^J^AI jrrJT -? -, oly»p,c Hitachi Zosen completes the 216,000 DWT "Olympic Armour" Contracted by the Grafton Shipping, Panama S.A. of Onassis Group, this new super tanker is the largest of the 200,000-ton class capable of passing the Suez Canal in the future. She is the first of five we'll build at the 300,000 DWT dock at our Sakai Shipyard, and one of many that have made us one of Japan's leading shipbuilders. The "Olympic Armour" is a standard 200,000 DWT vessel and very economical. It is designed for segregated cargo loading at the ratio of 50 : 50 or 25 : 75. She's capable of loading and unloading without ballast in her cargo tanks. For greater speeds, we've employed an economical hull form featuring a bulbous bow. To resist corrosion in tanks and pump room, we've used special cast iron pipes. The "Olympic Armour" has a helicopter deck at the stern to facilitate transportation of the crew. And the main turbines and boilers are remote controlled from central engine control station. You can profit by Hitachi Zosen's master shipbuilding techniques as others do. We'd welcome an opportunity to discuss your project. HITACHI ZOSEN ~~ HITACHI SHIPBUILDING & ENGINEERING CO., LTD.
