Pocket the profits with a Gunderson

Bros, convertible!

A3ATTU 3-in-1 barge

Crowley Launch and Tug Co. of San Francisco will pocket the profits with the 400' x 99' 6" x 20' "Agattu", a unique convertible barge, engineered and built by Gunderson Bros.

Initially the "Agattu" and her sister barge "Kiska" will haul large diameter pipe to the northern slope of Alaska; she will subsequently be stripped of stanchions and converted to a rail car barge for use in the Alaska HYDRO-TRAIN service. Conversion of this flat deck cargo barge to an oil cargo barge is also possible within the design and can be accomplished at the Gunderson Bros, facility.

The "Agattu" built better by experience by one of America's leading designers and builder of Barges, Marine Craft and
