When you specify or fabricate normalized Armco VNT Steel, you can take advantage of a major breakthrough in high-strength low-alloy steels.

Armco VNT provides a minimum yield strength of 55,000 to 60,000 psi, plus excellent notch toughness in thicknesses up through 6 inches.

Other high-strength low-alloy steels or heat-treated carbon steels can't deliver this combination of properties through such a wide range of thicknesses.
