Degree in marine or mechanical engineer- ing required. Minimum of 10 years marine engineering experience inclusive of actual operating experience aboard ship as li- censed engineer. Responsibilities will in- clude: development and approval of LNG tanker contract specifications, approval of machinery selection and layout, develop- ment and design of machinery control systems and automation and design evalu- ation of advanced propulsion systems.
NAVAL ARCHITECT
Degree required. Minimum 5 years ex- perience as a Naval Architect in shipyard engineering office or owners technical staff. Practical experience should include basic ship and ship structure design, eco- nomics of ship selection, hull hydrodyna- mics, deck machinery selection, ship dy- namics including vibration determination, and shipyard techniques and procedures.
MARINE COST ESTIMATOR
Degree preferred. Minimum 5 years ex- perience in estimating costs for ships and marine shoreside facilities. Heavy experi- ence in new construction required.
