Chicago based, 30% travel. Maritime acad- emy graduate and previous shoreside experience preferred.

VESSEL OPERATOR

Involvement with all phases of daily vessel oper- ations, including agency appointments, bunkers, cargo, voyage planning, charter performance eval- uation. Maritime academy graduate and tanker experience preferred.

PORT ENGINEER

Experienced Engineer to plan and supervise

M&R, develop new PMS programs, investigate company owned repair shop, establish Mate- rials Control programs and coordinate engi- neering activities. Some sea experience with good diesel experience a plus. Company is ma- jor South Florida Ro-Ro Carrier presently oper- ating four chartered and owned Ro-Ro vessels with an active domestic and European new shipbuilding program.

Experienced shipbuilding resident manager needed for Ro-Ro, diesel construction in north- ern Germany. Must have good steel and diesel background. Project until September 1980 with possible follow on ships. Potential for future shore employment with company.

MANAGER OF MARINE ENGINEERING

Belcher Oil Company, Towing Division, Miami, Florida has an imme- diate opening for Manager of Marine Engineering.

Basic requirements are Chief Engineers Diesel License Unlimited, experience with slow speed diesels in addition to some small tugboat experience, if possible. A Second's or First's license might be accept- able depending on experience level. Salary negotiable and commen- surate with experience.

Responsibilities include repair and maintenance of Harbor, Inland and Ocean Tug and Barge fleet, budget and cost control, preventive maintenance, supervision of seagoing engineering personnel, etc.

Reports directly to V.P. Marine and V.P. Inland and Harbor fleets.

Port Engineers will report directly to Manager of Marine Engineering.
