Liquid Marine

Operations:

The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7 years experience in inland transportation of liquid cargos. Applicants should be experienced in all aspects of cargo handling, including loading and discharging, making up tows, port op- erations, Coast Guard regulations, personnel screening, selection, training, supervision, and purchasing. An operators license would be very helpful.

Port Engineering:

Respondents should have 5 to 7 years hands- on-experience in towboat operations and main- tenance. Knowledge of and experience in all aspects of structural, propulsion and auxiliary systems, engine overhaul and trouble shooting is required. Familiarity with EMD engines is desirable.

Fleeting Operations:

The successful candidate will have experience in the make up of tows and the securing of barges in accordance wth U.S.C.G. regulations.

Familiarity with barge cleaning, minor barge repair and rigging is required. Experience in the supervision of fleet foremen and watchman would determine the superior candidate.
