The Mariners Club membership encompasses the maritime trade by representing the fields of ma- rine claims; marine insurance sales, brokerage, and underwrit- ing; marine surveying; marine risk management and admiralty law in the representation of ves- sel interests, marine employers and cargo insurers.

Nancy E. Blount has been named vice president, director of operations of American Canadian

Line, Inc., a Warren, R.I.-based cruise line that operates from the

U.S. to Canada and in the Out

Islands of the Bahamas.

Before joining American Ca- nadian Line, Miss Blount was em- ployed as a media buyer for Val- ley Forge Associates, Frazer, Pa.

She has also worked as a market- ing analyst for National Liberty

Corp., Valley Forge, Pa.

Miss Blount has a Bachelor of

Science degree in marketing from the University of Vermont and an Associates degree from Colby

Sawyer College in New Hamp- shire.
