The Society of American Mili- tary Engineers (SAME), a pro- fessional engineering society which was founded in 1920 and is comprised of active duty mil- itary and civilian engineers who are dedicated to the defense of our country, has officially in- stalled its new local officers for 1981.

The new president, Dr. Pistilli, holds the title of "Engineer of the Year" for 1980; an award from the American Society of

Civil Engineers. As a Navy pilot in World War II, he was shot down three times. He also served on active duty during the Korean

Vietnam during the TET offen- sive.
