Sell AEG-Kanis Steam

Turbines In North America —Literature Available

Terry Steam Turbine Company, of Windsor, Conn., and AEG-

KANIS, a German manufacturer of steam turbines, gas turbines, and electrical control systems, have signed an agreement granting

Terry the rights to sell, manufac- ture, and service AEG-KANIS re- action steam turbines within the

U.S., Mexico, and Canada, accord- ing to William L. Wathen, presi- dent of Terry.

Terry's marketing efforts will employ the company's North

American network of sales offices.

The Terry Service organization will also provide a full range of support services, both for the AEG-

KANIS machines already operat- ing in North America and the tur- bines sold in the future. The AEG-

KANIS product line includes three basic multistage machines—con- densing, backpressure, and top- ping backpressure turbines in sizes to 70,000 bhp or 50,000 kw.
