Paducah, Kentucky. In 1980 Walker bought the vessel, pictured above, from American

Commercial Barge Line, where it was known as the JEFFBOAT for 27 years.

Walker Towing renamed it, painted it and put it to work. And since that time, the "new" JAMES T. BELCHER has con- tinued to prove it's still a dependable work- horse that can get the job done ... a job it's been excelling at for three decades.
