Mechanical Valve Actuator

Features of the remote mechani- cal valve actuator system (RMVA) manufactured by Teleflex Incorpo- rated of King of Prussia, Pa., in- clude design simplicity, cost effec- tiveness, high torque, high reliabili- ty, and easy installation. Approved by the Naval Sea Systems Com- mand, the RMVA is flexible for sim- plified routing, with minimum joints and connections and no criti- cal alignment.

The Teleflex RMVA uses three basic assemblies; the operator sta- tion and actuator, the cable/conduit system, and the valve station and actuator. Each group has been de- signed using a minimum number of parts to increase reliability, reduce weight, and minimize maintenance.

Design and installation time have been considered, and many common parts are utilized.
