Western Gear To Build

And Sell Rademakers

Epicyclic Transmissions

The Power Transmission Divi- sion of Western Gear Corporation,

Lynwood, Calif., has entered into a license agreement with Rade- makers Aandrijvingen, B.V. of

This particular Rademakers product line is based on the

Stoeckicht design which provides for a compact co-axial shaft trans- mission with low noise levels, high efficiencies and high reliability.

Applications for the Rademakers epicyclic planetary transmissions include speed increasers and de- creasers for turbine generators, pumps and compressors and var- ious marine propulsion reduction gears.

Thrust when and where you need it. Total Control

Proven from the Arctic to the North Sea

Without extending outside the hull lines of the vessel. White Gill thrusters can turn a vessel in its own length. Position it broadside

Hold position in roughest seas

Counteract strong currents and crosswinds. Even provide propul- sion. All while staying free of underwater hazards

Original equipment or retrofit; simplest controls thru full dynamic positioning.

Microprocessor-based, EN-SPEC 1000 takes the guesswork out of monitoring power cylinder firing pressures for high engine performance and maximum fuel efficiency. Detects harmful detonation and helps pinpoint misfiring cylinders and worn piston rings.

Digital display shows running average of peak firing pressures. Built-in thermal printer supplies a paper tape record.

Rugged (no moving parts), portable (weighs 12 pounds), battery-powered. One-step hookup to power cylinder indi- cator cock.
