Equipment Engineering Offers
Hydraulic Disc Compression
Tool—Free Literature Available
Equipment Engineering of Indianapolis, Ind.,
manufacturers of centrifuge equipment and sys-
tems, is offering free literature on the new disc
compression tool the company recently intro-
duced to the market after two years of research
and development. This challenge was posed by a
number of industry leaders using centrifuges
who were not satisfied with tools provided by
original equipment manufacturers.
The new hydraulic disc compression tool is
described as compact, lightweight, reliable, and
factory calibrated (cannot over-compress). The
text of the publication states that use of the tool
will not only extend coupling ring life by mini-
mizing thread wear but will also reduce down-
time. It is rugged in design and has proven its
worth in the most severe processes in a multi-
tude of industries. Over 100 tools are currently
in use.
In addition to descriptive text, the eight-page
brochure contains a color picture of the com-
pression tool, and gives such specifications as
weight (12 pounds), dimensions (7 inches high
by 7 inches long by 5 inches wide), and metallur-
gy (cast aluminum housing; wearing internals,
hardened stainless). A partial list of users is also
included.

Workboat
buyers don't like
to talk about
Fish Expo
Their competitors might learn just
how valuable Fish Expo is. In fact, over
half the exhibits overlap the workboat
market and in a 800 booth show, that'll
keep you busy tor a while
Whether you're looking for a good
shipyard, deck gear manufacturer or
the best supplier for handling equip-
ment, you'll find them at Fish Expo.
And Fish Expo probably has more
marine electronics exhibits than any
other commercial marine show.
The fact is that workboat buyers
have been attending Fish Expo for
years (all twenty of them). But they
don't like to talk about it. You see, they
think it gives them a competitive edge
and this year, we're sharing the secret.
