How smart oil companies and other major operators reduce maintenance costs caused by poor fuel quality.
Fuel prices are down. But fuel quality is down even further.
Refining now leaves residual fuels with more damaging minerals and lower combustibility.
Even diesel fuels are dirtier and harder to burn.
Fuel cost savings have been lost to increased maintenance.
Ferrous FE-4" Makes Fuel
Burn Better
Deposit build-ups are a symptom of incomplete combustion. FE-4 acceler- ates combustion so fuel burns more com- pletely before exhaust. FE-4 works on the source of the problem.
Better combustion reduces the need for boiler excess air that turns vanadium, silica, aluminum and sulfur into their most damaging forms.
Diesel injectors, rings and valves stay cleaner.
The results? Less frequent, less costly cleanouts. Less down time. Extended main- ^m , tenance periods and longer engine life.
Proven in Operation f it Over 20 major operators have proven the value of FE-4' including Totem Ocean
Trailer Express, Kloster/NCL, Vfest Coast ^r Shipping and those who know fuels best —
Sohio, Exxon, Arco and Texaco.
