Marine EngineerTechnologist—Oversees instal- lation and repair of marine power plants, propul- sion systems, heating and ventilating systems, and other mechanical and electrical equipment in ship including generating plant, boiler machinery, auxilaries, refrigeration and air con- ditioning equipment, automatic systems, electri- cal machinery, depth machinery, hydraulic pumps, pumping units, surveys, and drydocking.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in marine engi- neering technology. This position requires at least one year experience in the job offered or at least one year experience as a marine engineer.

SHIPYARD CONSTRUCTION
REPRESENTATIVE
The School of Oceanography, University of Washington is soliciting applications for a Prospective Operator's Repre- sentative to serve during the building of the new Navy research ship, AGOR-23 at the construction yard. Applicants should have an educational background in Marine Engineer- ing or Naval Architecture, prior experience in shipyard con- struction, and a good working knowledge of oceanographic research operations.
The projected term of employment is approximately 3 years starting mid-July 1988 (estimated award date of con- struction contract by the Navy). Location of the construction yard will be announced when the award is made. Monthly salary will be $3300-3800, depending on qualifications. A housing allowance or furnished housing will also be pro- vided.
