Individual water lubricated bearing staves install around shaft in stern tube or strut. Assembly can be made with shaft in place.

Simplifies inspection or bearing replacement. Water grooves provide flushing out of harmful particles—non-pollutant. A very pop- ular bearing available in a full range of shaft sizes up to 36".

Naval brass shelled Sleeve and Flanged Bearings meet military specification MIL-B-17901A (Ships) Class II

Full Molded Type. Non-Metallic Sleeve Bearings have tough thermoset plastic shell making them ideally suited where corrosion or electrolysis is a problem.

For extreme shaft loads; demountable staves of nitrile rubber bonded to naval brass bar for dove-tail fit into keyway bronze housing. Housings completely machined to specifications and ready for installation in stern tube. Staves are individually replaceable without removing shaft.
