Besides their stocking pro- gram on MONEL alloy fasteners, they are handling mill shipments in 18-8 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel and silicon bronze under the guidelines of the Quality Assurance

Automatic Radiotelex

System

Today several coast radiostations are ready to handle a telex connec- tion direct from the ship to the telex subscriber ashore fully auto- matically.

SAILOR Automatic

Radiotelex Station

With the SAILOR Short Wave Pro- gramme 1000/B it is possible to have a fully automatic shipboard or point-to-point radiotelex station for world-wide communication, which conforms to CCIR Rec. 476-3 and the new CCIR Rec. 625 and complies with the Nordic Maritex regulations and with other require- ments for automatic rapiotelex systems in • marine applications • land mobile/point-to-point applications • diplomatic applications

Outstanding Facilities • Error-correcting modem meeting

CCIR Rec. 476-3 and the new 625 with 9-digit call codes and identification exchange. • Unattended transmission and reception of telex messages - 24 hours a day. • Full communications privacy using built-in high security on- line/off-line telex cipher. • Automatic control of communi- cation equipment with »FREE« signal scanning and automatic power-up of transmitter. • Automatic channel quality evalu- ation and frequency tracking for optimum channel selection. • Print spooler for message print- ing while other tasks are per- formed on the modem. • Simple operation by use of soft- keys. • Full screen-oriented word pro- cessing with 256 kbyte solid- state memory and message man- agement • Standard- and double speed (100 Baud) operation with fre- quency- and space diversity. • Storage capacity for 105 user programmable frequency pairs and call codes • IBM-PC/XT communications software. • When the station shown above has been installed with two receiver aerials it is possible to receive calls on telephony and at the same time continue telex correspondance. • The station can be programmed to transmit a message when call- ed. The message can be trans- mitted to all calling stations or be protected by a password to a dedicated caller.

Reliable and Cost

Saving

The SAILOR Automatic Radiotelex

Station will not only give a more reliable MF/HF radiotelex system but will also decrease the man- power required due to the auto- matic operation facilities.

Thanks to the unique module sys- tem the equipment is available as an automatic radiotelex station, or combined with an SSB short wave telephony station... or according to customer's specific requirements.
