Candidates for this position need to meet the following qualifications: • Degree in Electrical Engineering plus at least 7 years naval/marine electrical lighting system design experience, orat least 15 years of naval/marine electrical lighting system design experience. • Familiarity with CAD or PC based CAE (calcs, data bases or spread sheets).

Education: a technical (not necessarily a Bachelor's) degree in the field of Ma- rine Engineering or diesel engineering
Experience: three years at sea sailing as an engineer/motor man on vessels powered by engines listed above or one and a half years at any of the factories manufacturing these engines
Experience must include use ot: horoscope pneumatic tuel pump calibration equipment: fuel injection timing calibration tool, engine alignment indicator wearing measuring tools: micrometers, feeler gauges and calipers, magna llux: ultra sound: hydraulic tensioning tools, electrical measurement tools.
Multimeter and oscilloscope, lathe, welding machine-electrode, hardness testing equipment Must be able to read blueprints lor mechanical, hydraulic and electrical schematics: must provide positive reterences for past three years employment, must also have worked with: Turbochargers: BBC and

SHIPYARD MANAGER to plan, organize, direct, control, and staff a well recog- nized Great Lakes shipyard. The successful candidate will bring creative engineering/business expertise to the process while being responsible for day to day op- eration of the yard. Primarily repair work, limited new construction
The desired candidate must have 12-15 years in in- creasingly responsible positions in the operation of a shipyard. Must have minimum of 10 years managing others (as Hull or Machine Superintendent, Project Ma- nager, etc.) engaged in shipbuilding/repair. Must have an engineering degree (Mechanical, Structural, Marine or Naval Architecture preferred).
The candidate selected for interview must demon- strate specific skill or ability in the following areas: skill in establishing procedures to regulate processes, tasks, or the activities of subordinates: able to delegate effectively: skill in identifying problems, securing rele- vant information and possible causes of problems; able to develop alternative solutions to problems, to eval- uate courses of action and reach logical decisions; an ability to make decisions, render judgements, take ac- tion or commit oneself.
The compensation package includes salary to the upper 50's plus incentive bonus and complete benefits.
