At SEACOR Marine, we are taking the lead heading into the 90's recognizing that the search for offshore oil and gas will require new attitudes, technologies and equipment. SEACOR

Marine's newest vessel, the M/V DISCOVERY ISLAND, re- flects the latest high capacity design for an offshore supply vessel. The 220' MA/ DISCOVERY ISLAND constructed at

Steiner Shipyard, Inc. has the capacity to carry 6,000 cubic feet of dry bulk material, approximately 2,800 barrels of liquid mud in six tanks, and 152' x 33' of clear deck space. Fuel and potable water capacities also exceed that of the typical supply vessel. The vessel also includes the latest in electronic tech- nologies, including joystick controls which are adaptable to dynamically positioned operations.

The delivery of the MA/ DISCOVERY ISLAND along with her sisterships, the MA/ SUN ISLAND delivered in 1989, and the M/V AVERY ISLAND scheduled for delivery later in 1991, help make SEACOR

Marine the most modern of U.S. Flag Fleets. It is comprised of anchor handling supply, platform supply, seismic, freight, crewboats, line boats, and most recently, North Sea standby/rescue vessels.

Our uncompromising attitude toward quality service as well as an unyielding commitment to envi- ronmental and human safety has earned SEACOR Marine an outstanding reputation in the U.S. Gulf of

Mexico. As we expand into other areas of the world, we take with us that same attitude toward excellence.
