Factory For $ 19 Million

Carrier Corporation recently bought the Seacold container re- frigeration machinery factory from

Sea Containers of Singapore. The purchase price was $19 million.

Carrier Corporation indicated that it has been looking to expand the manufacturing base of its sub- sidiary Carrier Transicold in South- east Asia for quite awhile.

Carrier Corporation is a sub- sidiary of United Technologies Cor- poration, which produces a broad range of high technology products and support services.
