ASNE 1993 Fleet Maintenance Symposium
The 1993 Fleet Maintenance
Symposium, jointly sponsored by the Commander in Chief, the U.S.
Pacific Fleet and the American So- ciety of Naval Engineers (ASNE), is scheduled for October 19-21, 1993 at the Town & Country Hotel and
Convention Center in San Diego.
The seminar will focus on fleet maintenance strategies supporting "From the Sea." The U.S. Navy has engineered a new strategy, called littoral strategy, which concentrates on how to structure fighting forces around the sea. Capt. Thomas
Kelley, USN, will give the welcome and administrative remarks at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, to be followed by the kickoff by Adm.
