The Marine Engineering Technology Program at Texas A&M University at

Galveston invites applications for two full-time nine month positions as senior lecturer and lecturer. One position requires specialty in the areas of: Marine

Propulsion Plants, Diesel Engine Technology, Marine Thermodynamics and

Heat Transfer, Fundamentals of Naval Architecture, and Fluid Mechanics.

Another position requires specialty in the areas of: Marine Auxiliary Systems.

Marine Technology and the Environment, Steam and Diesel Propulsion Plants, and Marine Air Conditioning & Refrigeration. These positions are available commencing with the Fall 1994 semester. Applicants with at least a masters degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering,

Marine Engineering Technology, and at least three years of relevant industrial experience are preferred. Registration as a Professional Engineer or current U .S.

Coast Guard Chief Engineer or First Assistant Engineer License (unlimited steam and diesel preferred) is required.
