The Cincinnati Gear Company has a long history of designing and producing diesel and gas turbine powered gear transmission systems for naval applications, including main propulsion gears on the T-AO 187 and AOE 6 class ships, lift and propulsion gears for the LCAC hovercraft, torpedo ejection systems, and genset gearboxes for DDG-51 destroyers.
