Reportedly the most widely used MAF for new construc- tion and repair of U.S. Navy surface ships, the ESP pipe joining technol- ogy is reportedly a simple, reliable and low-cost solution for field join- ing pipe through 2 NPS. The pat- ented Lokring ESP design employs a metal-to-metal seal without the need for O-rings.
