PRESSURE SENSORS are installed overhead in the engine room of the VICTORIA CLIPPER. Tubing connects the sen- sors to the monitored locations. Two sensors check raw water (engine coolant) and one reads oil pressure.
Individual sensor (above) has a frequency output to elimi- nate electrical interference.

Monitoring System is able to monitor vitally any function required (flow, temperature, pH, pressure, levels, electrical functions, conductivity, carbon dioxide,
RPM, etc.). System control is through a standard IBM compatible computer (type 486). Multiple graphic displays can be selected: gauge display, line graphs, etc., and segment of the trip can be studied at will.

TERMOCOUPLE temperature sensors check exhaust ports on each cylinder of the Detroit Die- sel, and two measure raw water and engine coolant. All sensor leads are routed to a junction box, then to the pilot house.
