Ultra Poly Wins Order For

Anchorage/ Alaska Dock

An order was recently received by Ultra Poly, Inc. ofTacoma, Wash. (UHMW PE manufacturer) and

Trellex Morse of Keokuk, Iowa (rub- ber fendering component manufac- turer) to manufacture and supply the Port of Anchorage Dock in

Alaska.

The fender system is believed to be the single largest order of U.V. stabilized Ultra High Molecular

Weight (UHMW) Polyethylene ever placed.

The Port of Anchorage fender design consists of more than 38,000- sq.-ft. of UV high visibility yellow and black UHMW PE fendering at- tached to steel sheets, manufactured by Jesse Engineering of Tacoma,
