Alabama Yard Signs Letter Of Intent To Build Four Bulkers

Alabama Shipyard, a Mobile, Ala.- based company and an affiliate of

Atlantic Marine, Inc., announced it has signed a letter of intent for four 27,000-dwt handysize bulk vessels to be built for interests represented by Tritea Maritime Ltd. of Piraeus,

Greece.

The agreement is subject to the arrival at a mutually agreeable con- tract and approval of Title XI fund- ing.

The handysize bulk vessels are designed by Mitsubishi Heavy In- dustries (MHI) of Tokyo, Japan.
