SPD Technologies Names

Halferty VP/Chief Engineer

Philadelphia, Pa.-based SPD

Technologies has announced the appointment of John P. Halferty to the position of vice president and chief engineer.

Mr. Halferty's professional car- eer includes 26 years in the electri- cal distribution and controls indus- try, servicing the residential, com- mercial, industrial, U.S. Navy and marine electrical power distribu- tion markets.

Prior to his latest appointment, he served as director of R&D for

Siemens Energy & Automation. In the past, Mr. Halferty was also employed in an engineering man- agement capacity for I-T-E

Imperial Corporation.
