Marine Insulation
Marine Decking sumption. Through common-rail injection, hig injection pressure is designed to be assured, eve at low engine speeds. With the atomization perfoi mance, the peak pressures of the common-rail sys tem are approximately 20 percent lower than witl conventional injection. MTU and its subsidiary
L'Orange Einspritzsysteme in Stuttgart were responsible for the development of the common-rail injection system. An additional benefit of the sys- tem touted by the manufacturer is its flexible capa- bility of variation across the engine power band, and its capability to deliver the same injection pressure at all engine speeds from rated speed to idling speed.
By eliminating individual injection pumps, load- ing of the camshaft and gear train is reduced.
