Conoco Awards FPSO

Contract

Petroleum Geo-Sei)vices ASA (PGS) announced that Conoco awarded it a major contract to con- struct and operate a Ramform design FPSO in connection with the development of the Banff field in the U.K. sector of the North Sea.

The company expects the contract to generate approximately $350 million of revenue dVer the first seven years of operations. The vessel hull will hi constructed in

Korea by Hyund/i Mipo Dockyard

Ltd., and the totfsides will be fabri- cated and installed in the UK. The full system is ffxpected to be deliv- ered and reapy for operation in
